The number of corona-infected people is increasing worldwide. It is therefore clear that an internationally oriented project like Mission:Enterprise is also affected.
In Germany, the place for our first summer school, the number of reported cases continues to rise rapidly. In the evening of 20.03.20, almost 20,000 cases were published. But also our partners all over the world are affected by the virus:
The country of Mexico has 203 cases of Covid-19 at the moment. 3822 people in Romania are in institutional quarantine and are still being tested. 277 people have been proven to be infected with the virus. The country of Israel, on the other hand, has already confirmed 883 cases and is now calling on its citizens abroad to return to the country.
Only 2 months ago our work was quite normal. We planned events, maintained contacts and created content. Since a few weeks this is no longer possible in this form. But fortunately there is homeoffice!
On Tuesday 17.03.20 we had a Skype call to make sure that all the members of Mission:Enterprise are doing well.
Of course, everything is a bit impersonal at this time, but Covid-19 doesn’t stop us from doing basic tasks and planning the best summer school for you.
We are currently doing everything we can and working towards being ready for the first Summer School in Stuttgart in July.
According to the current status it looks like the Summer School will take place in July as planned. Of course we can’t promise anything either, but we hope that the worst is over at this point and that events can take place again normally.
However, in order to keep the chances high that we can welcome our guests at the Stuttgart Media University in the summer, please do us a favor and stay home. Only if everyone sticks to this, we have a chance against the virus.
If you still get bored, apply for the Summer School on Social Innovation in Stuttgart. If you need more information about us and the project, feel free to browse the website. You are also welcome to check out our social channels.
Stay healthy!
